PRODUCT FEATURES

• Writing: Users can input messages via the on-screen keyboard within the Message Window. Pressing the Speak button triggers the device to vocalize the text, with options to have each word spoken as it is typed. The app utilizes human-quality voices for clear speech output. Users can communicate remotely through ClaroCom Pro, allowing message transmission via messaging platforms, email, Facebook, and Twitter, or copying to other applications. Incorporating Word and Phrase Prediction features enhances typing efficiency, while phrase banks provide quick access to common expressions—these can be customized and stored for repeated use. The app can adapt to device orientation, displaying large text for private communication when rotated or flipped. Additionally, ClaroCom Pro offers a new feature enabling chat between multiple devices using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connections.
• Word Prediction: The software includes built-in word prediction that considers word frequency and context, with initial suggestions available upon startup. It can also learn new words as users type.
• Phrase Prediction: Predicted phrases loaded from various categories appear on a bar above the keyboard, facilitating rapid message assembly. Users can search phrases and add bulk entries, supporting personalization. The system recognizes acronyms—typing 'awn' instantly suggests "Are We Nearly There Yet?" Users can quickly speak predicted words or phrases through a long-press action.
• Navigation: Swiping scrolls through additional suggested words and phrases. Flexible phrase templates include prompts that request user input for completion, supporting dynamic message construction. ClaroCom Pro allows easy importation of phrase sets from files, including those transferred via iTunes.
• Dictionary: Users select from multiple prediction dictionaries tailored to different vocabularies or languages.
• Voices: The app employs iOS system voices along with two high-quality Nuance Vocalizer voices—Tom (English USA) and Samantha (English USA). Voice speed customization is available linear adjustments. These voices are stored locally within the app, enabling operation offline. Additional Vocalizer Expressive and Acapela voices in various accents are purchasable via in-app options.
• Customization: Text appearance can be tailored through font size, color, or font type for improved readability. Personal information such as the user’s name can be set within the app; this data is automatically incorporated into relevant phrases to streamline communication.
